Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Scenes / Interiors

I like detective offices because it s always a big mess around. you can learn a lot of informations about the detective himself only by what surrounds him in his daily environnement. This project is not finished but the lighting looks like pretty much what i want. though, I will add more objects on the desks and on the floor again to tell the detective s story.
I made everything in 3Dmax and Photoshop. I used the Roger rabbit movie for refs.
Eventually, I would like to make a night scene of it as well.

I noticed the Valiant & Valiant style almost straight away, it's beautiful!

Now that is cool. Is this an office for two detectives? I couldn't help but notice that there were two desks instead of just one.
I like the lighting effects. The sunlight streaming in from the windows is very realistic. The photographs on the wall and the rug are a nice touch too.

Rogger rabbit is wonderful.

What a warm dusty office, I think this looks really great! I agree with what you said about detective offices, they are fun to draw and render because they are so messy. Maybe if it's a sloppy detective there will be files and paper everywhere, beer bottles, coffee mugs...

no Vray.

...just some tweeking in Photoshop after rendering different elements in 3d max. There s some final gathering and ambient occlusion pass but it s composited in Photoshop mostly. thank you.
